Welcome to the website of the Church of the Holy Spirit, Vientiane, Laos: an international group of believers and seekers from many different backgrounds, sharing together the Good News of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The service will be at the ARDA Language Centre at 10 a.m.(Click here for directions how to get there.)
You may be asking yourself "What is an all-age service? The answer is not complicated. On the last Sunday of the month, the children and adults remain together throughout the worship service, i.e. there is no Sunday School. This means that the service is even more "child-friendly" than usual and normally involves doing and making things in what is hopefully a spirit of glad participation and cooperation by young and not-so-young alike. Please don't be intimidated by the thought of this, as we do seek to make such services for all ages. This means that you are free to participate or not as much as you like, without the prospect of public derision or ridicule! If the thought of such a service appalls you then please don't let that stop you joining us. You never know, you may find yourself rather pleasantly surprised.
Creche facilities: There are currently families with young children who are part of the congregation. There is no formal creche as yet but we are happy to help with looking after young children.
The Bible readings for this, the first Sunday after Trinity, are as follows:

(*Currently the Lao Government does not permit Lao nationals to worship outwith the three recognized Lao churches. If you are a Lao national reading this and interested in finding out more about what Christians believe, you can find out more at one of the following officially recognised churches for Lao nationals: The Lao Evangelical Church, The Roman Catholic Church and the Seventh Day Adventist Church. You will find contact information for these churches in Vientiane here. Should this legislation prohibiting Lao nationals from attending other groups be lifted, we will certainly gladly participate in such changes.)
