We are saddened by the disaster in Attapeu this week. Please join us in prayer. Pastor Tony has written a special statement which can be viewed by following this link. Here is an excerpt:
"Please join with me in urging people to pray for God's comfort and help for the thousands of people whose lives have been devastated by the flooding. Pray that the politicians, government departments, aid agencies and others involved in bringing relief may do their jobs well. Pray for co-operation and a spirit of unity as different groups try to help, that a concern for the people may prevail over all other lesser concerns. Pray for the rescuers and others concerned with providing shelter, food, healthcare, and sanitation that they may be strengthened and enabled to fulfil these needs. Pray and keep on prayer, long after this disaster ceases to be headline news. Pray that God's concern for all will be made known. Pray that somehow through this terrible tragedy, things will get better and that ultimately God will use what has happened for good".
We look forward to seeing you on Sunday. Please go to our Visitor's Information page for service details including information about our Sunday School program and Child Protection Policy.
